Baby essentials you must keep ready this winter

Winter is that season of the year when everybody is in a happy mood, wanting to go out and relish the food they would crave for. But as a parent, if you want your baby to enjoy the season as you do, consider the following points which will keep the baby warm and happy throughout the season.

1.  Oil heater

The only types of heaters that are recommended by doctors for daily usage for babies. There are various options provided by various companies for oil heaters to choose from. The major advantage of using an oil heater during winters is, even when the temperature outside has fallen down the oil that is used for massage and bathing of a baby can be bought to room temperature with the help of these heaters. The second main advantage is since the baby’s skin learns to grow, breathe and moisturize every day it is recommended to keep the baby warm this way rather than making the baby wear extra clothes, as extra clothes may lead to overheating thus causing problems.

2.  Digital thermometer

Ideally, a thermometer can be used for dual purposes. As it can read the body temperature as well it can also read the room temperature. So during winters since there are lots of changes happening in the temperature, the thermometer can be used to keep a check on room temperature as well as on the body temperature so that the clothing of baby can be changed accordingly, thus saving them from feeling cold or hot.

3.  Sensitive Wipes

During winters it is always recommended that babies should be kept in diapers as if they are kept in normal cloth napkins, because of the poop and pee chances are they might get cold if left unattended for a while. Also, if there is no hot/warm water available to clean the baby at any point of time, mostly during the night or when the baby is fast asleep when the chances are that baby might get uncomfortable because of use of water at odd times, sensitive wipes are best during these times. Most recommended in pure breathable cotton as it has zero chances of suffocation when put on the baby’s face. Also, the size of the blankets so is big enough so it doesn’t get off the baby when the baby does any kind of movement. 

6. Warm baby clothes and caps

You must consider investing in some warm full-body baby suits. As the days are warmer compared to the night, you can buy a few pairs of half sleeves tops and half shorts and a few full-length bodysuits. Additionally, as the wind blows you must cover your precious baby’s head and ears with cotton baby caps, mittens and booties to avoid your little one from catching a cold especially when outdoor. 

7.  Moisturizes
