In today’s world,  Barkati Creation is inspiration to many first generation ventures that with hard work & passion anything can be achieved.

Mr Shahid Hokayat fondly known as Shahidbhai for many of his known colleagues, friends & business associate stepped in Mumbai in the year 2005. He came with his wife, life partner & strength along with basic sum of Rs.5000/- & vision to be an entrepreneur.

He started a job with mere salary of Rs.1500/month. This sum was less for many of us but for Shahidbhai it was opportunity to learn tricks of trade.

With his hardwork,honesty & passion he established himself as reliable & trustworthy person to work with.

His vision was clear & in just 6 months he left the job & embarked on business journey. He started small as hawker selling baby garments & accessories. He always believed no work is small or below dignity, if you do your business with right ethics you can be successful.

Soon he had loyal base of customers who trusted him for quality products at reasonable price & of course committed service!

In year 2006,Business grew & soon he rented small retail outlet. It offered retail & wholesale business. Customer base rapidly increased. Companies & traders trusted Shahidbhai & supported him.

“ Barkati Creation” was established in year 2007. Vision coming true. Business grew & wholesale business expanded across India.

However, Shahidbhai was not happy & as visionary planned for backward integration & planned to have its own manufacturing.

From 1 machine in 2010 to 7 machines in 2012, production of baby garments & accessories kick started achieving new milestones.

There was no looking back now. Along with Retail outlet at Crawford market & manufacturing support, Barkati creation carved its name in Baby Garments business. It was leading player which offered best quality products at reasonable price.

Year 2014, marked turnaround for Barkati Creation as it bought large space & established a factory with 30 plus integrated garment producing unit.

Shahidbhai proved all his critics wrong & spearheaded factory setup.

With its own production unit & retail outlet , Shahidbhai noticed the gap to have value representation for his products.

Thus flagship brand “ Genius Baby” –Style for your little baby was born in 2017. Its launch was successful. In no time it became leading brand – quality product with affordable price. The dream of all parents who had limitations to afford fashion brand for their new born babies was fulfilled.

Shahidbhai’s dream came true to fulfil parents dream to afford branded garments for their babies.

A man’s commitment to dress new born babies with quality affordable products was now true !

Due to pandemic, Shahidbhai explored yet another opportunity & took plunge in e-commerce set-up to help parents to buy garments & accessories without any worries & free of cost delivery!

Today ,Barkati Creation stands strong & supports livelihood of 50 plus women employees. The vision continues although the dream has now become inspiration for many !
